On Thursday, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, announced that President Bola Tinubu is firmly committed to reducing the cost of living and business operations across Nigeria.

As President Tinubu approaches his first anniversary in office on May 29, 2024, Idris clarified that there would be no celebratory events. Instead, starting today, sectoral briefings by ministers will commence, offering accounts of their performance and initiatives.

During the opening of the Ministerial Sectoral briefing in Abuja, Idris emphasized the President’s dedication to enhancing Nigerians’ financial well-being by increasing disposable income. He also highlighted ongoing efforts to attract local and foreign investments, aiming to significantly upgrade the nation’s infrastructure.
