A 15-year-old student at Air Force Comprehensive School in Kaduna, Blaise Aliyu, has tragically died after reportedly being punished by two senior students. Blaise, who is survived by his twin brother, also a student at the military boarding school in Mando, Kaduna, lost his parents in 2013.

According to reports, two SS3 students called Blaise to their room under the guise of punishment, which resulted in his death. His body has been taken to the mortuary.

The Nigerian Air Force spokesperson, Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, expressed deep sorrow over the incident. Gabkwet stated on Saturday that an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding Blaise’s death.

In a statement, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, and the entire NAF family conveyed their sadness over the untimely death on June 19, 2024, at Air Force Secondary School, Kaduna.

The statement emphasized that a thorough investigation is being conducted to uncover the reasons and details behind the incident, assuring the public that the matter is being handled with the utmost urgency.
