Abia Warriors goalkeeper Femi Thomas has announced he will retire from professional football at the end of this season. Thomas, who has had a 24-year career, will make his final appearance for Abia Warriors in the President Federation Cup final against El-Kanemi Warriors this weekend.

The match is set to take place at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos, on Saturday.

Throughout his career, Thomas has played for several clubs, including Enyimba, Kano Pillars, Rangers, Ocean Boys, and Nasarawa United. He was also part of the home-based Super Eagles squad at the 2016 African Nations Championship in Rwanda and represented Nigeria at the U-20 level.
