Afrobeats sensation Davido, also known as David Adeleke, and his wife, Chioma, have left Nigeria following their recent lavish wedding.
On Thursday, Davido posted images of their private jet on X, captioning it, “Let’s first launch this one.” A video showed the couple boarding the jet in Lagos, accompanied by Davido’s team, including Asa Asika, Lati, and Chioma’s manager, Ubi Franklin.
While the destination and purpose of their trip remain undisclosed, it is widely speculated that the couple is heading off for their honeymoon.
Davido and Chioma’s wedding was a grand affair attended by numerous celebrities and dignitaries. During the celebration, Davido surprised Chioma with a new car, and the couple received generous cash gifts from family and friends.
