In a recent interview with BBC Igbo, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, emphasized that his relationship with singer Davido goes deeper than just financial transactions or rumors.
Chief Priest clarified that Davido is not only his friend but also his in-law, as Davido married Chioma, who hails from Imo State, Chief Priest’s home state.
“Davido is my friend. He is my in-law; he married Chioma who is from Imo State where I hail from. So the relationship I have with Davido is beyond money and gossip,” he explained.
Previously, Chief Priest had shared on his Instagram page that his attire for Davido and Chioma’s wedding in Lagos cost seven million Naira. He also publicly praised Davido for his commitment to Chioma, stating that Davido’s decision to marry someone from Imo State has brought pride to the state.
