Nigerian singer and music producer, Michael Ajereh, known as Don Jazzy, has shared why he remains single at 41. Responding to a question on X.com on Wednesday about his marital status, Don Jazzy explained that he is focusing on self-improvement.
“I dey work on myself, so that when my head correct, my babe go enjoy me,” the Mavin Records boss replied.
In 2021, Don Jazzy revealed he had been married to American model and author Michelle Jackson at the age of 20, but the marriage ended two years later. He admitted that his dedication to music was a significant factor in the breakup.
“I spoilt it because I was giving all my time to my music. Music became my priority instead of my family. We got divorced when I was 22, and it hurt. I am still very much in love with my music, and I would not want to marry another (person) and mess it up again,” he explained.
