Chidera Ejuke expressed his excitement about joining Spanish club Sevilla on a three-year contract, becoming the first Nigerian to sign with the former Europa League champions.

“It is special to be the first Nigerian here,” Ejuke shared on the club’s official website. “I feel good being part of this team and I am looking forward to contributing to our success.”

The 26-year-old winger, who hopes his performance at Sevilla will earn him a recall to the Nigerian national team, added, “I also hope to be back with Nigeria. It’s always an honor to represent my country, and I am very excited about this opportunity.”
