A Georgia man, Jordan Talley, 27, has been arrested for beating his girlfriend and fatally injuring a bystander who tried to intervene. The incident occurred on March 31 in downtown Orlando, as reported by Fox News.

Talley has been charged with manslaughter and domestic battery. Orange County deputies stated that video footage captured Talley hitting a woman in front of a law office near Robinson Street and Magnolia Avenue.

In the footage, Talley is seen pulling the woman by her hair and forcefully throwing her to the ground. Donald Storie, 64, who was walking nearby with his family, heard the woman’s screams and rushed to help.

When Storie approached the couple, Talley punched him. Storie was taken off life support on April 23 and subsequently died from his injuries. The tragedy has left Storie’s family devastated.

Surveillance video shows Talley and his girlfriend entering a car, which detectives traced back to Talley’s home in Georgia. He was later taken into custody by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

During questioning, Talley admitted to punching Storie but claimed he was concerned for his girlfriend’s safety. The incident has sparked outrage and highlighted the dangers of domestic violence and the risks faced by those who intervene.
