A bank employee known as Mr. Nosa was reportedly murdered by suspected cultists in Benin City, Edo State. The incident occurred last Thursday after work hours in the Government Reservation Area (GRA) of the city.
Sources revealed that Nosa received a call at his office from a friend inviting him to a hangout. On his way to the meeting, he was ambushed and shot by the assailants. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Nosa was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Chidi Nwabuzor, the Public Relations Officer of the Edo State Police Command, confirmed the incident, describing it as unfortunate. He assured that the matter is under investigation and that the perpetrators will be brought to justice.
