A hit-and-run driver fatally struck 22-year-old Elizabeth James on the Sagamu-Benin Expressway near Dalof Filling Station on Sunday night.
The incident, confirmed by Police Spokesperson Omolola Odutola, occurred at 9:40 pm as Elizabeth and a male pedestrian were walking beside the road.
Both victims sustained injuries and were rushed to Live Well Hospital in Sagamu, where Elizabeth sadly passed away. Her body has been transferred to Fakoya Mortuary.
