Enyimba’s Chijioke Mbaoma and Remo Stars’ Sikiru Alimi are the leading contenders for the top scorer’s title as the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League season concludes.
Mbaoma leads the chart with 16 goals, while Alimi closely trails with 15 goals.
On Sunday, Enyimba will host Plateau United in Aba, and Remo Stars will face Katsina United at home.
Plateau United’s Albert Hilary and Sporting Lagos’ Jonathan Alukwu also have a slim chance of securing the top scorer accolade, each having scored 12 goals this season.
Additionally, Godwin Obaje of Rangers and Bashir Usman of Niger Tornadoes have both notched 11 goals.
