Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has accused fellow artist Davido of using their recent dinner in the United States to chase clout.
In a video message shared on his Instagram page, Portable expressed his disappointment, claiming that instead of collaborating on music or receiving financial support, Davido merely used the meeting to trend.
“Davido ripped me off. You invited me to a dinner in America, but you didn’t give me a verse or any money. You just used me to trend. You should have given me at least $10,000,” Portable stated.
Reports indicate that the relationship between the two artists soured after Portable accused Davido of giving him “bad advice” during their dinner. Following the incident, Davido unfollowed Portable on Instagram, and Portable responded in kind by unfollowing Davido.
