Lawyer Emeka Ugwuonye has alleged that actor Yul Edochie has stopped providing for his children with his estranged wife, May. In a recent Instagram post, Ugwuonye claimed that Yul has directed his children to rely on their mother for their needs, asserting that May earns more money than he does.
Ugwuonye further stated that Yul’s actions constitute a crime due to his involvement in polygamy. He emphasized that Yul’s failure to support his children is unjustifiable, especially as he embarks on a polygamous relationship.
“Yul is not supporting his children at all. He told his daughter that their mother is now making more money than him,” Ugwuonye said. “Can you imagine? You’re pursuing polygamy but can’t take care of your children? That’s not acceptable. Under the Marriage Act, marrying a second spouse is a crime.”
These allegations highlight ongoing familial and legal tensions surrounding Yul Edochie’s actions and responsibilities.
