The National Examination Council (NECO) has announced the results of the 2024 common entrance examination for Unity schools. In a press briefing on Tuesday, Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Sununu, revealed that 13 candidates scored a zero.

This year, a total of 71,291 candidates participated in the National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE), which took place on June 1, 2024, across 599 centers.

Lagos State led the way with the highest number of candidates at 17,751, followed by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with 10,209, and Anambra State with 4,972 candidates.

Dr. Sununu noted that 4,360 candidates were absent, while 66,931 were present for the examination. He highlighted that one candidate achieved the highest score of 203 out of a possible 210.

As is customary, the admission process will be based on 60% merit. More details will be shared soon.
