Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has expressed his disappointment over the disparity between the money sprayed at his wedding and the amount he and his wife, Chioma, took home.
On June 25, 2024, Davido and Chioma celebrated their lavish wedding, attended by dignitaries from various walks of life. In line with Nigeria’s Naira mutilation laws, many guests opted to spray dollar bills at the event.
Despite the grand display of wealth, Davido noticed a significant difference between the money showered on them and the amount they actually received. Commenting under a video of guests spraying money, Davido remarked on the discrepancy.
He wrote, “The video of all the money dem spray is and wetin we carry go house no dey tally.” [sic].
