Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has hinted that he is close to signing a new contract with the Premier League club. Arteta’s current deal with the Gunners is set to expire in the summer of 2025.
The 42-year-old manager is already gearing up for next season, having assembled nine players not participating in Euro 2024 or the Copa América for a summer training camp in Marbella.
In an interview with ESPN, Arteta shared, “There is no update [on his contract] at the moment. The thing that hasn’t changed is how happy I am, how valued I feel here, and how much I love representing this club.”
He added, “Things happen in a natural way, and our relationship is so good that I don’t predict any issues. But things have to develop in the right way, and it will happen.”
Arteta’s comments reflect his deep commitment to Arsenal and his optimism about continuing his journey with the club.
