Ikechi Kelechi is pleading for help from the public and security agencies after her 8-month-old baby was abducted in Imo State. The heartbreaking incident occurred in Amuzi Umuofor, Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area, when the infant was allegedly snatched by a man named Uche and his accomplices.

According to Kelechi, the abduction took place following a call from Uche, who had asked her to deliver a drug supplement at his residence in Ezinihitte Mbaise. After delivering the items, Kelechi was ambushed by Uche, a man identified as Dr. Obinna, and several unknown individuals. They reportedly attacked her, leaving her injured and unconscious in a remote area before making off with her baby.

Activist Chikezie Erege, who has taken up the case, expressed deep concern and has urged security agencies to intensify their efforts in locating the missing child and apprehending the suspects. Erege confirmed that a petition has been submitted to the Commissioner of Police, Imo State Command, CP Aboki Danjuma, by the victim’s lawyer, U.D. Ibeneto Esq. The petition details the traumatic events and calls for the immediate arrest of Uche and Dr. Obinna, who are reportedly involved in traditional medicine and reside in the same area.
