The housemaid of Nick Imudia, the former Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian e-commerce company Konga, has shared details of their last conversation before his death was reported last week.

According to a close friend of the deceased who spoke on the condition of anonymity, the housemaid said Imudia handed her a piece of paper with five phone numbers, including that of his brother in the United States, the day before his death. Imudia reportedly told her to keep the numbers as she might need them later.

The housemaid recounted that Imudia then went to take a shower. After some time, she noticed the shower was still running and knocked on the door, but received no response. Later, the private guard informed her to check on Imudia. She found him in a distressing state downstairs and discovered the shower still running but the bathroom empty.
