During Kylian Mbappe’s presentation at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez reflected on the significant moment from 2012 when Zinedine Zidane first invited the young star to Valdebebas.

Expressing gratitude for Mbappe’s decision to join the club after leaving Paris Saint-Germain, Perez said, “I know you will never forget that day in 2012 when Zidane welcomed you to our training ground.”
