The Federal Government is close to finalizing a new national minimum wage, with President Bola Tinubu inviting leaders from the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress to a meeting at the Aso Villa on Thursday.

A confidential source within the labour leadership revealed this development on Wednesday. According to the source, President Tinubu is eager to resolve the ongoing minimum wage discussions and has scheduled a meeting with the joint union presidents to address the issue.
