Renowned actor Yul Edochie has urged Nigerians to exercise patience with President Bola Tinubu amidst growing calls for protests against the government. Edochie emphasized that the President is listening and making efforts to address the nation’s issues.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, the actor acknowledged the prevailing hardships but cautioned that protests might not yield the desired results. “Protest is not the answer,” he wrote. “People take advantage of protests to break into other people’s shops, steal, destroy properties, and harm innocent Nigerians who are already struggling. In the end, the aim of the protest will be defeated. Remember what happened during End SARS.”

Edochie encouraged Nigerians to keep voicing their concerns and supporting each other. “Let’s be patient. Let’s keep speaking out and doing all we can to help. President Tinubu listens and he’s doing all he can to make things right. Fellow Nigerians, let’s be patient,” he added.

Despite his well-intentioned advice, Edochie faced significant backlash from his followers, who expressed differing opinions on the matter.
