Nollywood actress Esther Nwachukwu, popularly known as Esther Sky, has ignited a social media storm by openly declaring her wish to become Senator Ned Nwoko’s eighth wife. Speaking candidly in a teaser for the upcoming episode of ‘The Honest Bunch,’ the controversial actress stated that her pursuit of marriage is driven by financial security rather than love.

“I want to be Ned Nwoko’s eighth wife,” she boldly proclaimed, emphasizing, “In this generation, women love money more than love.”

The co-host Nedu, who questioned her stance on love, Nwachukwu dismissed the idea of love in modern marriages. “Nobody marries for love these days,” she argued, referencing the example of Dangote’s daughter, who she implied married for status rather than romance.

Nedu pointed out that wealthy individuals like Dangote’s daughter are accustomed to money, to which Nwachukwu responded, “You can’t be from a poor background and marry someone from a poor background. I’m from a very humble background and I’m an only child.”

Nwachukwu’s comments have sparked widespread debate on social media, with many criticizing her for what they perceive as a materialistic approach to marriage. However, some have also praised her for her honesty in discussing the often-taboo subject of marriage and money.
