Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has singled out Dani Ceballos as an essential player in his squad, despite the midfielder’s limited appearances on the pitch. Ancelotti expressed his satisfaction with Ceballos’ decision to remain at the club beyond the summer transfer window, highlighting the player’s value to the team.

During the summer, Ceballos was heavily linked with a move back to his former club, Real Betis. The 28-year-old even submitted a transfer request in hopes of securing the move. However, the deal fell through after Real Betis failed to meet Real Madrid’s valuation.

“He is an important player for us. It is true that he has not had the minutes he wanted or deserved, but we are happy that he has stayed with us. He will be very useful for the team,” Ancelotti stated during a press conference ahead of Real Madrid’s upcoming LaLiga fixture against Real Betis.
