Former Big Brother Naija star Mercy Eke has opened up about her experiences with body enhancement surgeries, candidly sharing that the procedures were ultimately worth the pain and effort. In a recent episode of the ‘Love Is A Game’ podcast, Mercy discussed her decision to undergo multiple surgeries, including a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), liposuction, and lip augmentation.

Mercy revealed that peer pressure and following trends played a significant role in her initial decision to enhance her body in 2018. “To be honest, at first, I followed the trend by undergoing body enhancement surgery. I did my body enhancement surgery in 2018,” she shared. Despite already having a naturally good figure, Mercy admitted that she was influenced by societal expectations. “I was slim with curves in the right places as an African woman. But maybe, my stomach was a little bit too much then.”

The reality star detailed the physical challenges she faced post-surgery, highlighting the intense pain and recovery process. “I was scared when I wanted to undergo the surgery. I didn’t tell my mum. I went with two of my friends. It was painful. You won’t sleep on your butt for fourteen days. You have to be lying on your stomach. That’s the painful part. After the surgery, you will cry for three days. But it is worth it,” Mercy recounted.
