Nigerian music sensation Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy of P-Square, has expressed his frustration over the ongoing family feud with his twin brother, Peter Okoye, and their elder brother, Jude Okoye. Despite their business differences, Paul questioned why they couldn’t remain close as family members.

The P-Square crisis, which has been simmering for years, recently reignited when Paul accused Peter of petitioning the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate him. Peter, however, denied the accusation, explaining that his focus was on uncovering the truth behind a secret company, Northside Music, allegedly owned by Jude and his wife, Ifeoma.

Jude, during an Instagram live session, dismissed Peter’s claims that he had diverted P-Square’s royalties worth millions of dollars into a private account, further deepening the rift between the brothers.

In an Instagram live session on Monday, August 19, 2024, Paul Okoye expressed his sorrow over the situation. “Even if we don’t do P-Square, can’t we be brothers? Even if we can’t do music, can’t we be brothers?” he questioned. “I don’t want to talk much. I don’t usually talk, but this is so unfortunate.”

The dispute between the Okoye brothers continues to draw public attention as the EFCC investigates the allegations made within the family.
