Angry youths protesting against bad governance and widespread hunger in Nigeria have reportedly invaded the Port Harcourt residence of the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike. The protests, which have subsided in Abuja, continue to gain momentum in Rivers State, Wike’s home territory.

Eyewitnesses report that the demonstrators gathered outside the former Rivers State Governor’s mansion as the protests entered their sixth day. The protesters expressed their frustration and demanded immediate government action to address the nation’s pressing issues.
