Award-winning cinematographer and music producer, TG Omori, has provided an update on his health, revealing that he is recuperating after a failed kidney transplant. Omori, who has been battling a kidney ailment for over a year, underwent a transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos, where his only brother selflessly donated a kidney to save his life. “Up and grateful, O Lord. (Sadly, I can’t backflip.) Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. I’m healing now from the stitches of the failed one, I’ll continue the fight. I’ve been on it for the past year or two, and I can’t back down now,” Omori wrote on his X account, formerly known as Twitter. He also expressed his eagerness to return to work, promising fans that he would soon be back to create the visually stunning music videos he is renowned for.
