Social media influencer, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), made a dramatic appearance at the National Assembly complex, accompanied by a chief priest, in connection to the ongoing investigation involving Bobrisky and allegations of bribery.
This comes after the House of Representatives summoned the Chairperson of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, VDM, and controversial cross-dresser Bobrisky over claims of bribery involving the EFCC and the Nigerian Correctional Service.
VDM had previously posted an audio recording on his Instagram page, alleging that Bobrisky, whose real name is Idris Okuneye, paid ₦15 million in bribes to EFCC officials to drop money laundering charges against him. Bobrisky had been arrested and convicted for naira abuse, a case that has since gained significant attention.
The arrival of VDM with a chief priest adds a new twist to the ongoing drama, sparking widespread reactions both online and offline. The House of Representatives is expected to continue its investigation into the bribery allegations, with all parties summoned for further questioning.
