Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has expressed disappointment with Arsenal’s performance so far in the Premier League, despite the Gunners remaining unbeaten. Mikel Arteta’s side has garnered 11 points from a possible 15, following their 2-2 draw with Manchester City last weekend.
In a discussion on The Overlap Fan Debate, Scholes stated that Arsenal’s attack appears to be struggling compared to last season’s impressive goal-scoring form. He emphasized that the Gunners need to improve, particularly in their quest to overcome Manchester City.
“I had high hopes for Arsenal to win the league this season, but I’ve been a bit disappointed with their start,” Scholes said. “They’ve been poor going forward, and it feels like something isn’t clicking yet.”
Scholes also noted that Arsenal’s failure to address concerns about their attacking options during the summer transfer window has contributed to their early-season struggles.
