A heartfelt testimony turned tragic at a church service in Ejigbo, Lagos, when Ifeoma, a 55-year-old woman, suddenly slumped and died. The incident occurred on Sunday, and Lagos State police confirmed the details on Wednesday. Ifeoma was expressing gratitude through song when she collapsed in front of her fellow congregants, sparking immediate concern and a rush to medical facilities.

Despite prompt efforts to save her, Ifeoma was declared deceased at a hospital in Isolo, following a referral from a nearby clinic. According to Benjamin Hundeyin, the state police spokesperson, Ifeoma’s family, including her husband, swiftly moved her body to her hometown in Anambra State for burial. The specific church where this sorrowful event took place has not been disclosed in the initial reports.
