Nigerian activist and politician Aisha Yesufu has criticized President Bola Tinubu, labeling him “a bad person” amidst the growing economic challenges in Nigeria. Yesufu made this remark in response to comments by Borno South Senator, Ali Ndume, who suggested that Tinubu’s advisers, not the President himself, are responsible for the economic hardship the country is facing.

Ndume had claimed that certain individuals in Tinubu’s administration are pushing harmful policies, leading to soaring fuel prices, food costs, and inflation. He asserted that these individuals were undermining Tinubu’s efforts to stabilize the country’s economy, stating that the President “means well” for Nigeria but is being misled by bad advisers.

However, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), Yesufu disagreed with Ndume’s position, stating, “Tinubu is the bad person. Call a spade a spade and not a garden implement,” directly accusing the President of being responsible for the country’s current economic difficulties.
