On Wednesday, Wizkid took to his X account to criticize Davido, further intensifying the online rivalry between the two Nigerian music superstars. Despite the online tensions, Davido, who signed an international endorsement deal with PUMA in 2021 and released his first collection in April 2023, focused on his achievements. The launch event for the second collection was hosted by Rolling Stone staff writer Mankaprr Conteh, where Davido shared reflections on his career and his journey from music to fashion.
Speaking at the launch, Davido remarked, “The first collection was a test, but now we’re here with more confidence. It’s about turning love for music into a brand that people can wear and relate to.”
