Edo Queens head coach, Moses Aduku, has set his sights on clinching the CAF Women’s Champions League title, affirming that his team’s main goal is to lift the coveted trophy.

Speaking with CAF, Aduku emphasized that while the competition will be tough, Edo Queens are fully prepared and motivated to return home as champions.

“We aim for nothing less than lifting the trophy. That is our desire. We know it won’t be easy, but we are focused on taking it one game at a time,” Aduku stated.

Edo Queens secured their spot in the prestigious tournament after winning the WAFU B Zone playoff and have been preparing intensively since then.

“Having reached this stage, we certainly don’t want to come back empty-handed. Our preparations started immediately after qualifying, and we are grateful to the Edo State government for providing the resources needed to enhance our training,” he added.

The CAF Women’s Champions League will take place in November 2024, and Edo Queens are determined to make a strong impact.
