Human rights lawyer Femi Falana and his son, rapper Falz, have issued a 12-hour ultimatum to popular crossdresser Bobrisky, demanding a retraction of defamatory statements claiming they sought ₦10 million to secure a presidential pardon on his behalf. This followed a leaked audio recording shared by social media influencer VeryDarkMan, in which Bobrisky allegedly detailed how Falana and his son approached him for the sum during his imprisonment earlier this year. The Falanas, through their law firm, have firmly denied the accusations, calling them fabrications aimed at extortion.

In their cease-and-desist letter dated October 14, 2024, the Falanas warned Bobrisky of legal action if he fails to issue a public apology and retract the defamatory statements. They described the allegations as reckless and damaging to their reputation, emphasizing that neither of them had any discussions with Bobrisky regarding a pardon. The scandal has ignited widespread controversy on social media, with many Nigerians reacting to the unfolding drama.
