Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed voiced the sentiments through a press statement, stressing the importance of safety on the roads and compliance with emergency protocols to prevent such tragedies.

The incident, which occurred in Majia, Jigawa State, resulted in 94 fatalities as locals attempted to collect fuel from an overturned tanker. This catastrophic event highlights the critical need for adherence to safety regulations and emergency response procedures to mitigate the dangers associated with vehicular accidents involving flammable substances.
