Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington, also known as Akpi, has broken his silence after his recent release from police custody, following his arrest initiated by Grammy award-winning artist Burna Boy. The arrest stemmed from Darlington’s defamatory comments questioning the legitimacy of Burna Boy’s Grammy win and linking him to the troubled American singer Diddy.
In a video shared online after his release, Speed Darlington took a jab at Burna Boy, boasting that “it takes 30 million to carry me.” He also mocked the situation, stating, “EFCC gives bed, DSS gives food. I have survived ground zero, what can you do to me next? If I go missing, it’s you, if you go missing, it’s not me.”
His taunts have sparked reactions across social media, with many questioning the ongoing beef between the two artists. Darlington shared the video with the caption, “Big fish; it takes 30 million to carry me.”
