Super Falcons star forward, Chinonyerem Macleans, has completed a move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Shabab, departing Russian outfit Lokomotiv Moscow.

Macleans, 25, had an impressive two-year spell with Lokomotiv Moscow, where she netted 14 goals in 33 league appearances. Her transfer to Al-Shabab increases the Nigerian presence in the team, with Rita Chikwelu and Chinaza Agoh already established members of the squad.

Speaking after her unveiling, Macleans expressed her excitement: “I’m thrilled to join Al-Shabab Women FC and contribute to the team’s success. Saudi Arabia’s vision for women’s football is inspiring, and I am proud to be part of this journey.”
