An unidentified woman, who appeared disoriented and incoherent, has been found abandoned on Asikolaye Street near the Olaiya area of Osogbo, Osun State. The discovery, made on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, has raised concerns among residents, who suspect the woman might be a victim of ritual practices.

According to witnesses, the woman, who was well-dressed but unable to speak or identify herself, was first noticed by locals on Monday morning. One resident, known as Baba Lekan, stated that her presence was not observed over the weekend, leading him to believe that she may have been dropped off during the night. “She wasn’t here when we closed on Saturday, but we found her on Monday morning. She was well-dressed but could not talk or identify herself. The woman might have fallen victim to ritualists or Yahoo boys,” Lekan remarked.
