Renowned Ghanaian actor John Dumelo has clinched victory in the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary election, defeating the incumbent Lydia Alhassan of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Dumelo, who ran on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), emerged as the winner with 40,561 votes, while Alhassan garnered 27,377.
