Nigerian music superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that his wife, Chioma, was the driving force behind his decision to settle down. Speaking on The Morning Hustle podcast, Davido shared that he wouldn’t have considered marriage if not for Chioma, whom he has been with for 12 years.
“My wedding was the happiest day of my life. Chioma has been my girl for 12 years, so it was only right I married her. If it wasn’t her, I’m not getting married. There’s no point,” Davido said.
The couple tied the knot on June 25, 2024, in a lavish ceremony held in Lagos. Davido also reflected on their relationship, noting that Chioma stood by him even before his meteoric rise to fame.
