Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has sparked conversations about drug use, stating he does not consider cannabis (weed) a hard drug. Speaking on The Morning Hustle podcast, Davido addressed criticisms of his involvement in combating drug abuse while admitting to using weed.

“This year, I’m donating to the fight against drug abuse among youths,” he said. “I don’t count weed as a hard drug. Some people are saying I smoke weed, but I don’t see it as a drug.”
