Nigerian Afrobeats icon Davido has stressed the need for visionary leadership to unlock Nigeria’s potential, asserting that the country’s resilience and global influence remain unmatched. Speaking on Elevate Africa via YouTube, Davido highlighted the adaptability and determination of Nigerians but lamented the absence of strong governance to drive the nation forward.
“Once we get the right leaders, there’s nothing stopping us,” he declared, emphasizing that Nigeria’s global footprint—from Nigerian restaurants to thriving communities abroad—reflects the strength of its people.
Davido called for transformative leadership, stating, “If you can survive in Nigeria, you can survive anywhere. We’re survivors, strong-willed people.” He reiterated that with the right governance, Nigeria could lead globally, given its immense talent and influence.
