Miss Onos Roman, a student of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has regained her freedom after her family allegedly paid a N1 million ransom to her kidnappers.

The victim’s elder sister, Ese, confirmed the release to reporters on Saturday, stating that Onos was freed on Friday afternoon and is now safe and doing well with her family.

Onos was abducted on Thursday in Abraka, where her captors stripped her naked and used her phone to demand the ransom, setting a deadline of 1:00 pm on Friday. The victim was released shortly after the payment was reportedly made.
