A 25-year-old woman, Firdausi Muhammad, wife of a junior police officer in Jigawa State, has delivered triplets just a year after giving birth to twins. Firdausi successfully delivered the three babies—a boy and two girls—via cesarean section at Dutse General Hospital on Saturday, December 2, 2024.
The triplets and their mother are reportedly in good health, receiving care from the hospital’s medical team. This joyful news adds to the family’s blessings but also presents financial challenges for Firdausi and her husband, Dayyabu Muhammad, who serves with the Jigawa State Police Command.
Expressing gratitude and excitement, Dayyabu appealed for prayers and support to help his family care for the five young children. Firdausi echoed the call for assistance, urging Governor Umar Namadi, his wife, and kind-hearted individuals to extend a helping hand.
“We are grateful for this blessing, but I appeal to the Jigawa State Governor, his wife, and compassionate individuals to help us properly care for our children,” Firdausi said.
Community Response and Need for Support
The family’s appeal has drawn attention to the financial burdens faced by young parents in similar circumstances, particularly those serving in public service roles with limited income. Calls for government and community support have increased, highlighting the importance of welfare initiatives for such families.
