Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has emphasized that governance is a covenant, urging politicians to fulfill their campaign promises. Speaking during the inauguration of the Kabusa Ketti Access Road in Abuja on Wednesday, Wike commended President Bola Tinubu for delivering on promises through his leadership.
“There is nothing difficult about government. Mr. President has come through me to fulfill the promise he made,” Wike said, highlighting the importance of electing leaders who prioritize results over rhetoric.
“Politics no be grammar. Make una no dey follow people wey dey speak grammar. You don see who grammar help?” Wike remarked, calling for a focus on practical governance that directly benefits the people.
The Kabusa Ketti road project, part of Tinubu’s development agenda, is aimed at improving infrastructure and accessibility in the FCT. Wike assured residents of continued commitment to fulfilling campaign promises and fostering progress.
