Nigerian actor and content creator, Ajayi Akorede, popularly known as Korexx, has sparked conversation with his bold statement that not all men are biologically or emotionally wired to desire women. He attributed much of men’s perceived lustful desires to societal conditioning rather than natural inclination.

In a thought-provoking video shared on his social media platforms, Korexx reflected on the pressures men face to conform to societal norms that equate masculinity with lustful attraction to women. He argued that older male influences, such as uncles, friends, and societal expectations, often prime men to view women through a lens of desire, creating a “false need” for lust.

“Growing up, most men enjoy simple things like family, video games, sports, and their future ambitions,” he stated. “But societal conditioning from older male figures pressures men into lustfully desiring women just to fit into the masculine community.”

Korexx further explained that this conditioning affects platonic relationships between men and women, making it difficult for men to maintain friendships with women without ulterior motives.

He also challenged the notion that lust is purely biological, suggesting that hormonal changes during puberty are exacerbated by societal priming. According to him, societal expectations force men to associate their value with their ability to pursue women, leading some to “force themselves to enjoy” what doesn’t align with their core values.

Korexx concluded by emphasizing that many men are driven by deeper purposes, such as achieving value and fulfilling their inner goals, rather than chasing women. He called for introspection and a move toward breaking these social norms that he believes hinder authentic relationships and personal growth.
