Annie Idibia, wife of Nigerian music icon 2Baba, has opened up about a painful miscarriage she experienced last year. Speaking during a recent episode of the reality TV show Young, Famous & African (Season 3), Annie disclosed that she was pregnant with twins but sadly lost them.
The actress and entrepreneur admitted the ordeal took a heavy toll on her, despite already being a mother of two. She explained that only her husband, Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, and her mother were aware of the pregnancy and its heartbreaking loss.
“I was pregnant with twins, but I had a miscarriage,” Annie said. “I wish I had someone to tell me in this group. I would be having a baby, and then we lost that. It was hard. I wasn’t even sure if I could share this with any of my friends.”
Her candid revelation sheds light on the emotional struggles she faced, emphasizing the importance of open dialogue and support networks for women dealing with fertility challenges or pregnancy loss. Young, Famous & African Season 3 premiered on Netflix on January 17.
