Renowned Nollywood actress Ini Edo has candidly shared her journey to motherhood, revealing she experienced multiple miscarriages and ultimately opted for surrogacy. During the ongoing Season 3 of the reality show Young Famous and African, Ini Edo explained that fertility struggles and repeated pregnancy losses led her to consider other options for having a child.

Responding to questions from co-star Nadia about marriage and her daughter’s paternity, the 42-year-old disclosed that she is currently raising her child on her own. She noted that the baby’s father is not part of their lives and emphasized her desire to keep their family unit private.

Ini Edo recounted how she underwent in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures, enduring six miscarriages before deciding on surrogacy. She stressed that no one had forced her into it, but the difficulties she faced made the alternative path to motherhood more appealing.
