Nigeria’s legendary playmaker, Austine “Jay Jay” Okocha, has expressed his delight over Alex Iwobi’s impressive run at Fulham this season. The 28-year-old midfielder has been one of Fulham’s standout performers, tallying seven goals and three assists under Marco Silva’s guidance.
Iwobi’s current form marks his most productive campaign in the Premier League since debuting for Arsenal a decade ago. The ex-Everton star has featured in all of Fulham’s 22 league matches, highlighting his importance to the squad.
“I am very happy with him and his progress,” Okocha said during an interview with Lagos Talks FM. Okocha, who also enjoyed a distinguished career in England, lauded his nephew’s development as a testament to Iwobi’s dedication and adaptability.
