Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has constituted new boards for key state institutions, including the Imo State University (IMSU), the Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (ISOPADEC), the Imo State University Teaching Hospital (IMSUTH), the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), and the Imo State University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (UAES), Umuagwo.

A press statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Oguwike Nwachukwu, confirmed the appointments and disclosed that Governor Uzodinma has written to the Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Chike Olemgbe, seeking legislative approval and confirmation of the nominees.
